REAL CLOTH NAPPIES

We all remember the old saying "waste not want not". In the UK we are creating more waste than we know what to do with, using resources that can't be renewed and leaving behind an unfavourable legacy for the next generation. In the UK 8 million disposable nappies are thrown away every day. That's almost 3 billion nappies a year!!

Modern real cloth nappies are really practical and offer parents a real choice. Most real nappies consist of a soft, absorbent nappy, liners and waterproof breathable covers (called wraps). New designs fit snugly and nappy pins have been replaced with Velcro fastenings, poppers and plastic grips for quick and easy fastening. Real nappies are available in over 30 different types and patterns.
